Where the money comes from

Building a drone or a rocket costs money: materials, tools, travel for competitions. Joining DOPE, though, is free, and it has to stay that way. The gap is covered by university funding for student activities, grants and sponsors.

The Business team writes the funding applications, prepares budgets with the other teams, looks for sponsors and keeps up relationships with partners. Then it keeps the accounts: every expense has its receipt and its project.

What partners give

With a partner it is not just money that changes hands. Often what arrives is tools, software, opportunities we would not have on our own.
