DOPE Hubs trains the generation that leads AI, not the one it displaces. We do this by building a European network of applied research where talent and researchers develop the only skills AI cannot replicate: design creativity, leadership, relational intelligence, and mastery of complex tools. Our product is not prototypes. Our product is people.
Vision
A European network where human talent doesn't compete with AI, it directs it. Where STEM and non-STEM students build the systems of the future together, becoming the decision-makers of a technological transformation that needs human guidance. Human progress through technological progress.

We choose challenges that require months of work and multiple disciplines. If it's easy, it's not for us.
Interdisciplinarity
Engineers, physicists, economists, communicators. The best results come from teams that speak different languages and find common ground.
Measurable Results
Every project has concrete deliverables: prototypes, papers, field tests. If it can't be measured, we don't do it.

DOPE Hubs started at the University of Genoa from a simple question: why wait for graduation to build something that works?
From that first aerospace team we grew to 120 researchers across 9 parallel projects. Our first international benchmark — the UAS Challenge 2025 — ended with a 6th place worldwide. From there the method expanded to AI, robotics, biomedical, energy and Earth observation.
